Tontine raised £217 for Comic Relief

During two days in March staff here in Tontine organised some fundraising activities in aid of Comic Relief.

Activities included giving a donation to play FIFA 19 or take part in a table tennis tournament, a cake sale and donating money to wear something red over the two days. We also had a “Red Nose Day Quiz”, which was won by Glasgow City Council's Data Team who called themselves - “Two Heads are Better”.

We also borrowed Glasgow City Council's Smoothie bike to help raise money by asking for a donation for a healthy smoothie.  Organiser, Pauline Wallace said “The fruit was donated by local Glasgow traders at the fruit market and by pedalling the bike, this would power the blender and create the smoothies, giving us a nice healthy treat as a reward for all the pedalling!”

A massive thank you to all those who donated - Total Produce, Premier Produce, James Mackie, Firmbanana, Arshad and Graham Nicol & Dow.

The activities were a real hit and we raised £217.60 for Comic Relief.
